Post 3: My dream job

Hello, today I come to tell you about my dream job.

As I said in previous posts, I study dance at the university. Clearly my dream job is to be able to work and make a living from dancing, to be able to work as a dance performer. I grew up dancing folklore, and I would love to become a dancer of BAFONA (Ballet folclorico nacional) and it is because I would love to be able to make a living from what I study professionally.

The skills needed to get to fulfill my dream job are and although it sounds redundant to have dancing skills.

Well the salary is relative, generally you don't work with a contract where you have a fixed salary every month. It all depends on the amount of work that is generated month to month, and prioritizing expenses. This is because in Chile there are very few companies that pay dancers for their work, so they always end up working in things other than their profession.

I think the only time I thought about not studying dance was when I was applying to universities, because of the social pressure and the bad comments that artistic careers receive. I was about to study a "traditional" career but my mom was the one who opened my eyes because all my life I wanted to study dance.

But this is my dream job.
